Join us for a walking tour of historic sites in Salem that pertain to the Witchcraft Hysteria of 1692. Discover the truth about Salem's infamous Witch Trial Hysteria. Experience the authentic story of Salem's most notorious murder. Encounter how Nathaniel Hawthorne spent much of his life trying to escape the legacy of a hanging judge. Hear tales of the accused witches and the ghosts that have followed since as we visit neighborhood haunts.
We’ll present the stories of the unsung heroes of the Hysteria period and of those whose actions were truly malevolent. Stories of vengeance brought on by the evil of those who pursued innocent townsfolk as practitioners of black magic will rivet the listener in these true tales. See if you can still smell the apples of the long gone orchard of the first “witch” hanged. Visit the graveyard and hear of the souls buried there. Hear of the curse of Salem’s Town Sheriffs and decide if you are a believer or a skeptic. A highlight is a view of Salem’s original, documented haunted house to hear of the mischievous spirit who has convinced many of its existence and forced occupants out. Combining factual history of the 1692 Witch Hysteria with told and retold stories of ghostly occurrences, this tour will educate with spine tingling suspense added in.
